Dedicated Volunteers are the Backbone of Save A Life

Dedicated Volunteers are the Backbone of Save A Life

By Ashley Mitchell

We couldn't do what we do without volunteers. Thank you in advance for all that your do for us.

Save a Life is incredibly lucky to have very dedicated volunteers within our community. From longtime volunteers to a very dedicated Board of Directors, we are very fortunate to be able to help our community with a group of passionate and caring people.

Our new volunteers, Chris and Amanda, have been working hard to develop an Art fundraiser for Save A Life. This is  giving a new life to the art pieces done by participants at Save A Life. These pieces are hung up at local locations. Adjacent to each art piece is a flyer and a QR code if you would like to purchase the art piece. All proceeds benefit Save A Life Recovery Resource Center. This is a wonderful way to show off the talents of the community, what we do, and to help spread the message that Together We Recover.

Currently, there are art pieces displayed at Stewart Professional Learning Center and here at Save A Life. There will be more locations in the future and we are excited to share them with you.

On the subject of Art, we are starting a new biweekly program called "Recovery and Color". Every other Tuesday at 5:30pm we will have this art program led by Courtney. All are welcome to attend. The next program dates are: 1/20, 2/3, 2/17.
